Aug 2010 - New Office in Leeds, and Twitter!

Part of the reason it's taken so long to update the site with this years work is that we're now working out of Leeds, whilst still splitting time with North Yorkshire where we have many existing clients. We're all set up now though and the update to the gallery section of the site will be coming very soon, after a couple of new jobs for clients are complete!

May 2009 - A formal complaint

Those of you that have dabbled in web design will know that if any particular aspect of it made you question your sanity it would be form design, more specifically the script based processing bit that makes re configuring the Matrix seem like working out how to draw a circle in ms paint. I have spent many, many hours and tried a huge variety of equally frustrating methods of getting the things to run smoothly, but I've just found a considerably more efficient way of doing it. One that lets me concentrate on the creative and design aspects rather than spend another day knee deep in perl script. It's called FormNUT if you want to check it out.

 

April 2009 - Email Newsletter Design & Delivery

Just finished designing an email newsletter for Educational Visits UK, sent using a new bit of software we have that makes the whole process of sending an email to 1,000's of people a whole lot less tedious. See the new email section, or the gallery for more info & screenshots.

 

March 2009 - Bedroom Folders 2009

It's been hectic start to the year (hence the new site not being fully ready!) and one of the reasons is that I've just finished working with those lovely folks at Elmtree Press designing this years 'bedroom folders' for the North of England. These are basically a series of folders containg a variety of leaflets on tourist attractions in the area, they go in most hotel rooms throughout each area they cover (whether you know it or not you've probably had a flick through one at some stage). This job was very enjoyable and i'm more than pleased with the results...talking of which I've rendered them on the computer in 3D and you can see a small preview below (there's more pictures now in the gallery, so go on, have a look!).

21/04/09 - WEBSITE GOES LIVE

www.sevensomething.co.uk has left the starting gates. You know this because you're on said website. Please spread the word! We hope this allows you to take a better look at what we can do for you, as well as providing a slightly more attractive showcase for our work. And please do bear in mind that this is indeed all shiny and new, and there is bound to be the odd errant link or gramatical inconsistency, nobodies perfect... unless there are actually none of the aformentioned throughout the entire site, in which case we'll happily claim that title.
